On August 12, 2021 a gimmick account that follows red panda furries started circulating this screenshot of a furry called Sage or Sage Wah intending to go to the upcoming Denfur convention despite having Covid.
The screenshot in question.
No one was a fan of this message of Sage’s.
Things take a more interesting turn after this. The account got called out for cropping out the fact that this message was sent in the “Furry Raiders” chatroom, which is owned by self-admitted pedophile Foxler Nightfire.
No woke furry can resist an opportunity to grift off of a public health crisis.
The account links to Nazifur Receipts which is part of a network of gimmick accounts piloted by extremist Communist furries that use them to stalk and harass people. Oftentimes their targets are reformed individuals that they are attempting to suicide bait out of spite. If that sounds oddly specific, you can probably figure out why.
A radical Antifa furry publicly strokes his confirmation bias. Others do similar in other posts.
Here is some apparent context from Pepper Coyote of all people:
Apparently, nobody actually attempted to identify if Sage actually had a registration or not before circulating this post on Social Media.
An obviously well-adjusted individual reflects on the situation.
Let’s cut to the chase here: The Furry Raiders are a bunch of idiots being led by a self-admitted pedo and attention whore in the form of Foxler Nightfire. The group is also known for allegedly doing illegal activities and harboring shitty racist people and the like. It’s also known for causing chaos for the lulz.
This post was obviously picked up by the equally questionable individuals that spend their time stalking the chat for grift content. It was meant to be picked up in this fashion. It was meant to be bait. The grifters took the bait. In the pursuit of clout, they exposed the community to unnecessary fear and panic in the middle of a public health crisis.
Sage is to blame for this, as are the Raiders for not immediately deleting the post and punishing them. But so too are the people that circulated this post without fact checking first, like Pepper Coyote did.
I hope the community can do better in the future.
